Before/After School STE(A)M

We are enjoying creating, exploring, and investigating with your children this school year - and looking forward to summer break and the following 2026-2027 school year! Our NatureLab offers a unique opportunity for children of all ages to engage with the changing world around us through STE(A)M-based projects and exploration. We have before after school programs for TPES, PBES, and intersession with Breakthrough Montessori.

ENROLLMENT FOR THE TPES/PBES 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR IS OPEN.

the NatureLab offers TPES and PBES students a morning track, an afternoon track, and a combined morning and afternoon track. We will be in touch with enrolled families in July to confirm plans and days per week per month.

If you and your child are interested in exploring the NatureLab programs during the coming school year, but would like more information, please email tnlsteam@gmail.com.

Beyond the projects, each child is encouraged to explore the wider world; be it building forts, studying flora & fauna, collecting rocks, sampling wild plants, playing outside, interacting with friends, or getting their hands dirty making and creating.

We start each month with an overarching theme and plan each day of the week with a one-of-a-kind, standalone project or project track. So whether your child participates one day a week or five, before or after or on a weekend, each day is different.

A core element of our afterschool program since 2013, we meet our TPES/PBES Kindergarten through 5th grade students at their schools at dismissal to enjpy a walk to our space or a project or to enjoy the changing seasons. We eat a snack, play at the park, head toward a hands-on project, or explore our city.

the NatureLab includes both open and structured programs to nimbly and creatively respond to the individual needs and interests of the children in our program.
